Founded in 1868 as the first Advanced School of Commerce in Italy, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice is a leading university in Italy in Economics and Management, SSH, Languages , and Hard Sciences.

 

With its office PInK - Promoting Innovation and Knowledge, it promotes the engagement of the researchers in collaborative activities with industry and their commitment to exploit their research results also through new entrepreneurial initiatives. CF will provide expertise in cultural change for the Investigation and Development & Validation, with special regards to the social science sector.

Prof. Vladi Finotto

Vladi is the Rector's Delegate for Intellectual Property, Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer and an Associate Professor, Economics and Business Management - Department of Management, Ca' Foscari University Venice. His main research interests are: i) Entrepreneurship and strategic renewal in small and medium enterprises with particular reference to the low- and medium-tech sectors of Made in Italy. ii) Internationalisation strategies of small and medium-sized enterprises and upgrading processes in global value chains. iii) Social media, distributed innovation and networked marketing, both in manufacturing and creative industries. From 2016 to 2020 director of the University's active learning labs, to promote a culture of entrepreneurship, sustainability, innovation, interdisciplinarity and new models of learning.

Prof. Francesca Checchinato

Francesca is Associate Professor at the Department of Management of Ca' Foscari University Venice where she teaches a number of courses related to marketing. She is one of the co-founders of Agrifood Management and Innovation Laboratory and the scientific coordinator of the "Digitalization in the food sector" research line. She is also part of the International Management to Asia Laboratory (IMALab). Since 2006 she teaches marketing at Ca' Foscari University and in some Master programs. Her main research interests include digital marketing, brand management and communication, and international marketing.

Dr. Luciana Gualdi

Luciana is a Research Fellow involved in the development of the Innovative Ecosystems for the exploitation of research conducted at Ca’ Foscari. She works at the Knowledge Transfer Office dealing with the development of a better understanding of key factors in the construction of more effective research exploitation strategies and the definition of models leading to the implementation of university entrepreneurship. She has a PhD in Medical Biotechnology and experience working in innovation brokerage, research valorisation, and research and enterprise networking.
